Rhode Island historian and the Cocumscussoc Association Vice-President Bob Geake will discuss A Cocumscussoc Reader, and his transcription of the Updike letters after the family's loss of the Castle and the lands, as well as a glimpse into how the War of 1812 affected Wickford and its residents. 

Visitors are asked to bring their own lawn chairs with a suggested $5 donation. Water and a restroom are also provided.
