The theme this year is The Twelve Days of Christmas, come find out about the true meaning of this well-known carol and learn about the Twelfth Night cake, which will be on display. Enjoy live entertainment: Sat. 1.30-2.30 Brown University Madrigal Singers (a Capella group), Sheila Reynolds, on guitar, will play Christmas carols the remainder of the afternoon. Sunday 12-1pm. Beacon Pole Hill DAR Dulcimer players, with Sheila Reynolds accompanying on guitar. 1-3pm St. Luke's Bell Choir called the Jubilate Ringers. Father Christmas both days, complimentary cider and cookies, the popular Docent Bake sale and an Ornament sale. There will be vendors selling: handmade jewelry, fresh wreaths and local photography. A Children's craft table, Christmas cookie decorating and Face painting. View the Gingerbread house made by the Exeter Job Corps culinary students, the Castle decorated by the docents in Colonial style with fresh greens. Our Gift Shop will be open and the Castle Docents dressed in Colonial attire are always happy to explain the history of Smith's Castle.
